Fits the bill for an Andre Ward fight

Americans can't stand the fact that Calzaghe exposed their "new tyson" Lacy, and then took the scalps of two of their legends, before retiring an undefeated legend

They have never got over it and will go to the lengths of lying through their teeth in a futile, obvious attemt to discredit the Welsh Legend

yes, after cleaning out all the Americans and while Ward was fighting a tin can for the vacant WBO NABO middleweight title in the Cayman Islands

I can see where you yanks are going, trying to start some myth that Joe ducked Ward

Calzaghe is 12 years older than Ward and that ******ed bum Dawson, so don't be going on about he ducked them guys who couldn't sell out a bus stop.

And as for "how could joe beat him"

    :patsch

pull your head out of your ass boy, Americans were the easiest opponent type for Calzaghe, the Ameri-cutioner, he feasted on your boys, slapping them silly and sending them packing, ruined.

Lol at Brits having one claim to fame besides Lewis, albeit an entirely undeserving one in Calzaghe!

Yet they hang on to it for dear life.

Cheer up, chaps. You're steadily coming up the ranks in football at least.

I just find it funny that he only payed attention to Joe's last two fights and give him the reputation of an old man fighter when Dawson in his past 8 fights has fought 3 old men twice each  arguably losing to an old Glen Johnson

Exposed what? Joe had no intention of fighting Lacy. Frank actually had to offer a down payment after he pulled out of the fight. A stunt he had pulled numerous times before.
And no one in boxing worth their salt thought Lacy was anything remotely close to being the next Mike Tyson.
    Legend

:lol::lol: Have you even seen that fight? Or are you trawling boxrec looking at score cards? That fight was a hot mess. JC had no business fighting Bika. Remember JC was a guy who had no problem facing Freeman Barr and opponent so shite that even Sports Network didn't want the mandatory and the WBO pulled him from their number 1. JC was Britains number one comfort fighter. Nothing more or less. Beating a few old names late in his career doesn't change that fact.

I voted SOG until I thought it might be in England where Calslappy would win by one of his famous TKOs . . . lol. the first clean shot landed by Joe in the 8th round would cause the ref to run in and wave off the fight

if i did that I would think ward won every round vs Bika. JC vs Bika was close and scrappy but everyone could see JC win, ward fight was 50/50

It'd be a pretty even matchup. I'd have loved to seen it.

Calzaghe is too far gone into retirement now. All we can do is speculate. They both have styles that would make it difficult for the other.

Am I the only one who thought Bika could have possibly won that fight?

I'm willing to bet that Joe would have never stepped in the ring with the likes of Dawson until he declined ! I mean of all the guys you listed how many of them out side of Jones and Hopkins were of A caliber or on the level of Dawson ? Ahisra ? Bika ? Veit ? Oh wait Jones was shot to **** so he doesn't count :good I almost forgot that the guys in bold were world beaters !
