I definitely think that in the day, Chag had a good chance of beating Vitali.

I also think that Vitali used the loss to Wlad to duck Chag. As stated above, the "two headed monster" syndrome.

(not to mention them both ducking each other, which is a disgrace that they seem to always get a pass on.)

the guy beat Valuev when Valuev was at his best and when people thought he was washed up had Povetkin hurt and made the rising guy really have to fight to get the decision

Chagaev is a good fighter just kinda fell short

Beat Valuev, tried to unify but got sick, tried to rematch Valuev but Valuev said with that disease i cant fight you, so Wlad did got the Ring belt

Chagaev became a mandatory for Haye and Haye ducked him

Then he finally got a shot at a big fight wiht Povetkin at one point had the momentum and blew it by slowing down and not pressing when he had Povetkin stunned

 

Vitali might be ready now, problem is Ruslan is no longer ready anymore.

The word going round is that Chags is looking like a beast in the Universum GYM.

 

Credibility lost right there.

Beating the Russian ape is not exactly difficult, a brain damaged Holyfield did it aswell.

Chags is soft and complacent, not the hungry contender he once was.

 

I must admit that movie is eerily ironic in the context of boxing today.
