I have no doubt PWill will make the absolute best of this situation and he has by all accounts I've heard been extremely sensible with his money.
Paul Williams, is a personal hero of mine. I very happy to see him in good spirits, still moving, still living and enjoying life, and still trying to rehab and walk like he said he would.
I really hope Paul can walk again. He's a class act. Was really upset when I found out what happened to him.
Hopefully he will be able to walk again.. I love how he gave a whooping to Margarito, when everyone was fearing him..
From what I hear, he has invested in some real estate and owns a few apartment complexes, so he actually did well with ensuring income for after his boxing career. I'm glad to hear he is going on with life as usual. With that type of attitude and approach to rehab, I do believe he will walk again. Great little thread to post by the OP. We don't have too many feel good moments for our boxers when they encounter something as tragic what PDub went through.
I won a bet on that fight. Paul is always entertaining to watch with that incredible volume punching.
Atleast his spine wasn't severed as first thought... Must have been bad if they thought that though.. Hopefully he can get back to walking again... If he boxes again then that would be insane
Bruce Lee in your avatar suffered a spinal injury and couldn't walk for 6 months. I think Paul Williams injuries are worse than Bruce Lee's so if he can walk again it's a miracle. He should forget about boxing again though, as if he manages just to walk he should be satisfied.
Good look for the punisher....I hope he defies the odd and we see this kid walk again....Just a sad, sad way to end a stellar career... the good thing is his book has not closed....it may actually be, just beginning. I hope we see an even greater story play out for Paul as the years go by. He was a genuinely good dude...humble, respectful and a hard worker...you gotta respect that.
