    If you call yourself a boxing fan and you aren't even somewhat excited about this fight... YDKSAB. Period. The amount of people who voted in this poll shows how many ESB peeps (16 as of this post) are real actual boxing fans. Thats my take on it anyway.

    This fight is so sexy.

    I'll be sad for whoever loses, though. Neither's career can really afford it.

    So hopefully we at least get a war out of it, and it isn't just one of them destroying the other.

    they were on republica deportiva last weekend and from listening to Vasquez i don't think he wants it as bad. He flat out said it. I do not like boxing. It is just a way for me to make money.
    This type of mentality is bad when facing a guy like Rafa. You know he is willing to go to hell and back to get that win. When your eyes are swollen shut and Rafa is peppering you with those piston like shots a sport you don't like is going to turn into your own personal hell.
    Rafa still has very good power and technique. We saw him hurt the much bigger JML so him hurting WV2 won't be a problem. I like Vasquez though. he interviewed very well and speaks more like a promoter than a fighter.

    WAR.:bbb I hope Marquez still has enough in him. Those 4 fights with Vasquez practically took both of their careers and damn near ended them.... well for Vasquez at least and Marquez hasn't been as good in his last fights. But WAR Vasquez Jr and Rafael Marquez!!!

    Vazquez will forever be an unexperienced guy. Theres skills that you'll never get when you get into the game late. Plus they rushed him mega quick and put him in there with monsters from the beginning. Awesome heart but I'll never be able to confidently pick him in a fight with the top guys. Rafael Marquez can still throw down. And hits brutally hard.

    Vazquez last 3 or 4 fights were tough he should have taken a break and gotten an easier fight

    Good, good fight. Rafa almost stopped Lopez and some feel he beat the Japanese champion. He's a warhorse that can't be underestimated as neither can VJr. That kid is a talent for having such little experience. When he's trading he's vulnerable, but when he's jabbing and boxing he's a force. I think VJR SD12 or Rafa Marquez TKO 8.
