IIs Broner better Technically than a 22 year old Floyd?

Floyd was better all around and would whoop Broner's ass at that weight. Easy KO for Floyd.

That is 18 year old Floyd, I see more skill in him than I see in todays Adrien Broner.

with his defense you will, at that time he was already sparring with pernell whitaker and montell griffin.

 

I'm not saying he's necessarily a much harder puncher(although he probably is), but there should be little doubt by now that Broner has a considerably bigger and stronger upper body than Floyd had at that age. Maybe even now if he were not limiting himself for the lower weight classes.

 

I never heard he sparred Montell Griffin who was a full fledged LHW by the time Mayweather was a mere 130 something odd lbs.


I do know he sparred Pernell Whitaker and Frankie Randall.

 

Money is 2 levels above Broner, I think Broner has the chance to be the next big thing but Money is so far over him its a joke.

That doesn't make you a harder puncher. And he definitely wasn't a harder puncher at 130 than Floyd. He just looks it against his mid-level opposition. Meanwhile, Floyd was stopping like Angel Manfredy. And Diego Corrales. And Genaro Hernandez.

This is boxing not body building. He looks strong but still is unproven IMO. I think too much attention is being focused on the wrong fighter this weekend.

The stand out fighter of the night for me was Keith Thurman. I see more potential with this kid than I see with Broner. Too bad we didn't get to see One Time in there with Maidana. We would have been able to see a better gauge of his ability versus a top ten rated welter.
