That same bum handled Hopkins with ease you know the guy Joe bareley beat and was flooed by ! Really go back to the drawing board ! You honestly think any version of Kessler could hang with Dawson ! Nice try !


And Lacy was in fact that all hype ! Only a fool thought of Lacy as the next Tyson ! I picked Joe by a clinic ! Had anyone watched Lacy Sheika fight prior they would have seen that Lacy was a horrible boxer !

What American's are you referring to? Jeff Lacy was never any good in the first place. What's funny and goes to show how little folks thought of Calslappy, is Lacy was favored to win that fight. The only people who are or were high on Lacy, are the delusional Calslappy fans that want to be able to feel like Joe actually accomplished something by beating an HBO hype job with all of 17 pro fights or whatever Lacy's record was.

As far as beating two American legends, Bravo to Joe and his nuthugging fans!!! Joe beat a washed up Jones jr and a declining Hopkins. Terry Norris beat Ray Leonard. Kostya Tszyu beat Chavez. I hope you see where I'm going with this, and I could go on and on and on. I guess it must be a UK thing since Calslappy fought these past their prime guys then gushed like a school girl about it. Sort of like Lewis beating a washed up Tyson and patting himself on the back, or maybe even how Khan says it's the right time to catch Floyd as he feels Mayweather is on the decline. Feel good about Calslappy and his "legacy" though.....

What's your point chum? Secondly, how good did Jeff Lacy turn out to be? Not exactly HOF material huh? Beating Lacy was no more special than Joe beating two reality show fighters in Bika and Manfredo. Go ahead and pretend that Lacy was some juggernaut because HBO said so, or because the 4 fighters you mentioned picked against Calslappy. HBO deosn't always get it right. How did Jermain Taylor pan out?

The boxing world doesn't care about Calslappy or his padded unbeaten record. Calsalppy will ALWAYS be remembered for beating two past their prime fighters. Some "legacy" if you ask me.....

I wasnt classing them all world beaters, just found it hypocritical that some little american fanboy was stating Calzaghe would never fight Dawson because hes too young when in fact 6 of Dawsons last 8 fights have been against 40 year olds and in Bernards case pushing 50 whilst Calzaghe fought guys mostly in their late 20's

Bika is still a top world class fighter and a solid gatekeeper at 168 even today whilst Veit worked his way back from a KO loss to challenge calzaghe again beating Kabary Salem, Lolenga Mock and knocking out Charles Brewer and still went onto beat jurgen braehmer who later won the WBO 175 title, was he an elite fighter? no but he earned tie right to at least challenge for the title whilst Sven Ottke kept his stolen property in lockdown

Quite Frankly id pick Mikkel Kessler to beat Chad Dawson whilst Dawson beats the others in that particular list to answer your question despite not making a list of Calzaghes best opposition but of his previous 8 fights in comparison to make a point of age. :good
