Ali defeats everyone head to head and greatest achievements. Holmes is next. Marciano and Klitshckos bottom of both lists.

Head to Head match ups are purely opinion. But if most people where given drugs that make you 100% honest and realistic in you're opinion.

    Lennox Lewis
    Larry Holmes
    Muhammad Ali
    Evander Holyfield
    Mike Tyson
    Riddick Bowe

These are the hardest heavyweights head to head of all-time. They could all beat each other, and would be involved in close fights between each other.

These guys up above would beat most of the other guys, at their peaks.

Lennox Lewis would probably blast most guys out, a pissed off Lennox Lewis is probably the baddest heavyweight of all-time.

It's a shame Larry Holmes came at a time when he missed out on the really massive fights, He was certainly some fighter and maybe could of added to his legacy. It's a little like Wlad at the moment but Wlad's opposition is a fair bit lower to say the least..

Holmes beat mercer and mccall when he was in his 40s not bad but didnt have that big commercial name

He should have been champ again with the WBC

Anyone care to do a head to head list and an overall greatness list-

Wonder how much it would differ-

holmes style is terrable against a swarmer/pressure fighter or a counter puncher. every time he loads up and steps in with that power jab hes right next to the fighter within distance to get hit. i love holmes but h2h norton and bowe 2 guys who are not the greatest, would rank higher imo, sluggers or cutesy guys like byrd and young would be easy work for a guy like holmes so would a tua.
