    If he's able to scalp Povetkin that could be his best ever win. No easy task though obviously, the mans a warrior with an iron chin. He could possibly beat the aging Vitali now. Povetkin is the toughest possible match up he could have had in his entire career since the Lewis fight never materialized.

    they should... eventually when they have proven themselves to be worthy of another shot... both brothers faced Peter and if vitaly faces Haye then that would also be a common opponent both beat (if vitaly wins).

    I think he'd get respect if he had a rematch with Haye at somepoint either in the states (NY or Vegas) or at Wembley in London.

    some of the names thrown out in this thread are laughable, SETH MICHELL, ARREOLA, PULEV....

    what the ****? There is only one answer in today's HW divison, only one other elite HW and Wlad will never fight him. When there were loads of Elites around, Wlad was a blip in the top 15. When they retired he became undisputed.

    I say Wladimir should give Evander a shot and you will see how he will get up for this and tell ya what, one big left hook from Evander and Wladimir will not get up. Problem is that Wladimir respects the guy that much that he doesn't want to fight him or b'cause he feel his jab and right hand may seriously hurt a legend.

    Evander shouldn't be fighting any klitschko at this point. the guy is a legend but he is too old at this point.

    Knocking Haye to sleep is yet to do. That would make a lot of new fans..

    Hopefully that fight happens soon.

    Fans that give him a hard time are just pure haters, they have nothing to pick on him for so they just hate out of nothing. Fact is, Wladimir fights everyone available in the division without hesitation, there is nothing more he could possibly do. It's not his problem the division is weak.

    He doesn't get a pass, IMO. It's just blatant ducking, and both of their legacies are forever tainted by it.
