Is it ok for a Boxer to ignore the contracted weight?

    No, listen, I think draining fighters is bad AND that not making weight is bad

    so are you implying that forcing a fighter to make a weight that he contractually signed to fight at is bad if it would drain him or are you implying another thing? sorry man, i still could not get your actual point.

    I think that each case is different, some done to a worse extent than others, get me?
    But in general I thrown on both

    This question should never been asked as the answer is obvious. The discussion would be more meaningful if the question posted is "what are the possible reasons a boxer fails to meet the stipulated weight".

    it's funny how people brings Pac's name up coz he also failed to make weight. not making the weight but trying / sweating to make, it is different from intentionally not making it without even trying.

    no. they should be fined 25 and 50 percent of their purse for one pound and two pounds over, respectively.
