Boxings first time back on national TV and they are gonna show fighters that never had a pro fight instead of top level championship level fights? Why does it seem like boxing is set up to fail?

It's boxing's way of hitting the reset button...instead of trying to build up established guys who may be done with the sport by the time people get enough exposure to them to become fans, they've decided to latch on to the best hopes from day 1 to build up their name value and recognition. Then they'll have that fighter's entire career to capitalize on it.

Cruel business for the guys who deserve the attention now and have paid their dues, but I guarantee you that's what's going through the promoters' and the media's minds.

Yeah Lomachenko's weight class and they fought at the Worlds. It really wasn't that close, Ramirez was busy but couldn't land anything. Lomachenko was half asleep as well, if they meet again at the olympics expect Ramirez to get blown out.
