I don't understand why David Haye thinks he "entitled" to a fight with Vitali... why can't he fight his way to become a WBC mandatory challenger? There are guys out there working hard in the gym trying to get a title shot while Haye is working hard flapping his lips in front of cameras. I like David Haye and I think he's a good fighter I just don't get why he thinks of himself as the "chosen one" or something ridiculous like that.
I don't get it... If a fighter wants something bad enough he should do everything in his power to try to get it done. If that means 1 or 2 fights then lace 'em up and throw down.
There's no guarantee he'd get a fight with Vitali in 1 or 2 fights. Don't you know how this sport works?
Who deserves a shot more and why? Arreola, from fighting club fighters? Adamek, coming off a robbery? Chambers, who is going to cruiser? Who? Who man, who?
Is he really that famous in over there? Does his name get mentioned in the same breath as Beckham or even Andy Murray? I must just not be able to appreciate his fame being over here in the US. No one except the truly knowledgeable fight fan knows him where I'm from (Boston).
It's a waste of time. If Vitali doesn't want to fight him, he's not going to fight him. Haye being a mando is t going to change it. If the money Haye brings isn't enough, nothing will be.
How is fighting a waste of time for a fighter?! It's their profession AND PASSION! Haye would have a much better argument if he fights (and wins) 1 or 2 more.
Sorry bud, Povetkin deserves a shot first. Why didn't you mention him when you where listing off all of the other potential HW's?
They're called prizefighters for a reason. Tell me this, can Haye make more money by choosing his opponent or by the WBC choosing his opponent? Why would Haye take a pay cut to get in line for a title shot he may never get?
