Khan was outboxing him but wasnt showing any remarkable skill, he was jumping in still leaving his chin out.. Any world class fighter should be catching him.. What Garcia did was exactly what he needed to do.. It wernt a fluke punch, he was bound to land it at some point in the fight.. Khan always gets hit clean whoever he fights... People have just bin in awe of his chin since prescott coz hes managed to take a few.. A true knockout puncher will KO anybody given a clean enough land

That's fine, but the point is that using the fact he didn't stop a fighter who has never been stopped in order to prove he is not a puncher is utterly illogical and irrelevant. If you had mentioned Holt rather than Theopane and Morales, it would be more relevant.

    trakam is saj,no doubt.

watched the fight again last night, khan had a good 2 rounds, but even in the 1st he was getting counted, you could see it coming a mile off really, garcia was standing with him to take a few so he could counter,he wasn't blinded by his fast hands like a lot of khans opponents do,cover up and move back in staight lines
khan does not need to start again, you will never change his ways,it is built into his makeup, his DNA,its the way he boxes ,always has done always will do :thumbsup

oh ****,forgot, trakam go away for a few months watch some boxing not just khan, laz did and he is a much better poster for it,he still loves khan unconditionally but he also likes other boxers, try it you ****ing knobjockey :hi:

This is what serious posters who know this sport are up against with people like you , if nothing i suppose it gives us reason and means of debating

I train with a pro coach mate 3 times a week , primarily for mma as thats what i do , but striking is striking , maybe you should start with boxercise :good

He should try at least watch some boxing before trying boxercise mate, I have the feeling he's only ever heard of it.

    I disagree

I believe Khan has a) gone backwards defensively , strategically , and b) believes he is a better more rounded fighter than he actually is

The statement , an intelligent fighter will knock him out is very generic i agree and not true , there are some styles out there that just don't match up to Khans skill set , Malignaggi and Judah are examples of this , there top level fighters , but they have nothing to worry Khan , Khan has extremely good hand speed , if a fighter primarily relying on hand speed is fighting Khan there in trouble

Back to Garcia , the punch was not a lucky punch , not by a long way , it was a well timed counter , the reason his eyes closed is because he threw a shot as Khan was shaping to throw , a sloppy leaning uppercut if memory serves , you'll notice on impact Garcia's eyes may of been closed , but when he stepped and threw they were not , it was a calculated shot culminating in 2 and a half rounds of waiting for his chance and executing the shot properly , but this was not the only chance he was presented with during them 2 and a half rounds , and he was mightily close to landing this exact same shot on several occasions

If Roach and Khan refuse to identify what went wrong and label this fight as hard luck " hey i was hit by a puncher lets move on " , the same thing is going to happen again at some point very soon , he is making fundamental mistakes defensively that have gotten worse not better , this kids going backwards and something is telling me if he continues with Roach and the celebrity corner there not going to be addressed

    Garcia's favorite brand of ***s?

    Lucky Strikes

    It's funny 'cause it's true!:rofl

People are getting upset at the suggestion that Khan may have been unlucky, put your money where your barely coherent mouths are:

I will take a monetary bet with anyone including our resident UFC Boxcerise champion that Khan beats Garcia in a rematch.
BTW I am no more 'Saj' than you lot are secretly BNP. I know reading comprehension is not a strong suit for some of you but Think about that statement for a minute before getting into a frenzy.
