James Degale in line to face Kelly Pavlik....How do you see this fight going?

  1. Degale wins every round and stops pavlik late, similar to the Paul Smith fight

You guys are basing this on his performance against Rosinsky.
But none of you know how good Rosinsky even is.

Most had Rosinsky beating Edwin Rodriguez - and as a prospect Edwin is pretty solid.

Pavlik close decision. Maybe gets a KD in the process.

Sorry to break it to you but that shitty guy you're referring to won a gold metal. He's also one of the slickest fasted guys in the division. Fighting an elite level pressure fighter would be a great learning fight. Pavlik could win the fight I'll give him that but if DeGale came through (which I'd expect him to do) then he would grow immensely as a fighter.

I think Degale wins this but gets caught and hurt in the process. He seems to get caught with silly little shots that should be avoided. He's a sucker for the right hand. I think if he got his act together and sacked off that clown trainer of his he'd be a much better fighter.

Having said that I wouldn't be suprised if his technical flaws let him down and he did get stopped with a big right hand

    should be a good fight

This is insane. People talk about Broner being overrated (which I agree he is massively at this point because he hasn't fought a truly world-class fighter) but DeGale is being WAY more overrated here. The best fighter he has faced has been friggin' George Groves. And he lost. To George Groves. And people think he can take Pavlik? Only on ESB.

Pavlik loses to BHop and Sergio Martinez and is regarded as a limited and stiff joke, yet DeGale fights nobodies and loses to George Groves and is a top prospect who would hand Pavlik his ass?

I had really high hopes for DeGale but he's just not developing. He gets hit too much for someone slick. I think even though Pavlik is slow and a shadow of his former self he will pressure DeGale and stop him.

As it happens i dislike De Gale , I'm certainly not biased , i just say what i see , Pavlik is dire , at his best he was just a walk forward 1 - 2 fighter with immense size and strength for a MW , freaky actually , De Gale and Groves are genuinely talented fighters , this will become apparent over the next 2 years

De Gale would box Pavliks head off
