Why is it that Americans hate so much on British Boxers?

I mean look how much coverage Mitchell and even Arreola get! Haye would be an idol.

 

I wish the Americans would just **** off with Arreola, i really do :rofl

 

I know, he's exactly the type of heavyweight Haye slagged on his way up. It wouldn't even be close. Chisora would school him too.

Imagine if he was East European, he'd have less hype than Ustinov!

 

I think the Americans would have treat Haye much the same as the British do.

He'd have gotten more hype off the TV companies but the hacks would probably have been on his case more than the merry flagwavers we've got here, or the build up/knock down merchants.

Most boxing journos are ****ing **** in all honesty, they know jack about the sport in all honesty.

Compare them to the blokes who report on cricket and rugby.... the difference in the knowledge is staggering.

There used to be this old boxing game on N64, and the graphics were ****, all made up of polygons, it would go in slow motion, and the punches were thrown at like three point angles, disjointed and laggy as ****.

I believe that the Americans are jealous of the fact that Britain has recently had a lot of good white boxers. I remember watching Joe Mesi fights and he was labelled by the American media as 'The Great White Hope.'

They hated Calzaghe beating Hopkins and Jr, and Froch beating Taylor and also the fact that Hatton was headlining in Vegas with more support than home fighters. I don't know what it is with America, but they just don't have many good white boxers. I think there is a fear of the black boxers, the fear of rebellion against the whites in sporting events for the persecution they suffered, sadly, in modern history!

Last 3 British hype jobs got owned/embarrassed by slick, undefeated American fighters. Carl Froch got humiliated by Andre Ward and to a lesser extent Dirrel, Amir Khan got brutally knocked out by Danny Garcia and spanked by timid Peterson, and Ricky Hatton got brutally knocked out by feather fisted Mayweather and turned into coke and depression. I think I'm missing someone else here, but you get my point. The only scapegoat the Brit's have is Calzaghe getting a split decision to grandpa Hopkins and UD to Jones got who brutally got knocked out his next 2 fights.. Lmfao.. hey, lets not forget the next Mike Tyson Jeff Lacy.. LMFAO.. who Americans never heard of before the highlight video in the Hopkins fight. Matter fact, Jeff Lacy is more known in the UK than he is in the USA, no ****ing lie. Also, the reason why Arreola gets so much coverage is because he's a Mexican heavyweight.. there's never been a MExican heavyweight champion in boxing, he has a huge Mexican following in California. Why do you think that MMA Mexican guy got so much coverage.. nobody gave **** all about John Ruiz, the guy who Lewis ducked like the plague..
