Backing up my mouth? My mouth is saying Khan wasn't unlucky to get stopped the way he did. Not that Khan would definitely lose a rematch. I think you've got your wires crossed.

There won't be a rematch, Garcia's camp aren't interested in one.

Ofcourse they aren't! Seems some people have more confidence in Garcia than his own camp. They know he loses next time round.

But getting back to the original point of the thread , Golden Boy have ways of cornering their fighters into accepting fights. It would be a money spinner for all concerned.

he has solid power but not as much as people hype it.
Go and look at his record. notable fights...

He did not put a dent in Kotelnyk who is rather easy to hit and was hit.

Ortiz quit, he was not rolled out.

an old DeMarcus Corley heard the final bell.

An old Morales took every shot Maidana threw and he was one eyed for most of the fight and didn't see most of the shots coming
    (Funnily enough Garcia floored Morales)

Khan who has proved once again his chin is not all that did not hit the floor.

And Devon Alexander (who Matthysse floored) was never in the slightest bit trouble against Maidana.

So no I do no believe Maidana is a massive puncher.

Why should Garcia give Khan a rematch, it was not a close fight, it was not a SD or even controversial. Khan was stopped inside 4 rounds. Khan was/is just not good enough. he now needs to earn a shot at a title.

Anyway, the same could be said about Khan and his camp, he never gave Prescott a rematch at the time and he never gave Maidana a rematch. you can't have it both ways.

Khan is the biggest fight for Garcia at 140, who apart from JMM who does seem to interested.

Garcia last purse was 550k, HBO want the rematch so would give a decent pot, if Garcia get a offer close to $1.5m like Peterson was getting for rematch, I think that will pull them in.

Garcia won't want jump upto 147 yet, he will want to defend his 140 titles, you never know after the Nevada ban Peterson and make fight result a N.C IBF might offer the rematch with the vacant title too.

maybe he will and maybe he wins, it's boxing, nothing surprises me anymore.

but I am not a hater and will not be humbled.

humbled is when you go on TV and call yourself a "superstar" and get knocked out inside 4 rounds.

    Good mate where you been?

Yes disappointed with how Khan fought, he was over aggressive and too reckless, Khan has mental issues.
