The very same journeyman that lost 4 out of his last 9 fights and needed 12 rounds to get rid of McBride... Come on, fighting a tricky, old school fighter like Toney would have been a lot mor benefitial to Adamek.

Shouldn't that be Toney's decision and not the medias?

James Toney is way worse. And Walker won his last bout verses a decent fighter in Kali Meehan. I have nothing against Adamek-Walker for a stay busy fight, but Toney is a zombie of his former self, I don't want him getting hurt that's why I don't want that fight. TS is crazy saying Adamek-Toney is better then Adamek-Walker.

Toney is SHOT though, He looked like **** verses Lebedev. Couldn't get a single shot off! Walker is coming off a win and is WAY more solid fighter at this point. I swear to god man don't judge guys by they're records so much, Watch Walkers last fight verses a solid Aussie fighter ( Kali Meehan ), This is a great, Tough stay busy fight for Adamek at the moment.

At HW, in 2012, crazily enough, Walker is actually an upgrade from Toney.

Walker can definitely hurt Adamek, and while he's also got the common puncher's curse of very poor punch resistance I'm not sure Adamek has the heavyweight power of his own to check his chin.

Adamek vs. Toney would have been a fairly ho-hum and horrible to watch UD for Adamek.

In Adamek vs. Walker, there are far more possibilities..

Toney is shot to **** it would have been embarassing. Walker will most likely lose but at least he has a legit punchers chance, Toney would just get outhustled for 12 rounds and lose a wide UD (he'd make adamek look like **** in winning though) and if he remarkably deserved to win on points he'd get robbed anyways, he'd have to win a minimum of 9 round in dominant clear fashion to even get an SD and Toney ain't capable of putting in that type of work vs a high output opponent. Walkers a journeyman but he has a huge punch so has a punchers chance and he always comes to fight, proly my favorite journeyman now that Barrett is no longer relevant.

This isn't a bad fight considering Adamek just fought and is fighting again in December. This should have some good action to it, Walker can hit ,probabably the biggest puncher Adamek's faced outside of Vitali, and his biggest problem(his chin) won't be as big a factor since Adamek isn't a huge puncher.

Adamek should be the favorite here but a Walker win, especially by ko, wouldn't be some huge upset.

As far as James Toney or Travis Walker I'd take Walker all day as an opponent for Adamek.

Walker is a solid fringe contender who has a shot at an upset here. Toney is shot and has almost no chance, not too mention a Walker fight should clearly be more fan friendly.

because he didn't KO them? hard to do for a former LHW vs a 250 lbs or heavier opponent

No, the logic there wasn't that he looked like **** because he didn't KO them. Not sure where you get that.

It was that he looked like **** because he plainly looked like ****.

He has ever since moving up to heavyweight.

Looked fine at light heavy and cruiser. **** the entire time at heavy.

he should of stayed at CW, and I'm saying this as an Adamek fan

HW is not the place for him, but he's still done better than many expected him to do
