    Is Wilder EVER going to step up?

    Manswell was stopped in 3 rounds by Ustinov . . .

    exactly, but don't get your hopes up, maybe he'll fight a top 100 fighter in 2-3 years

    Manswell is still better than anyone else Wilder has faced so far.

    To his credit he was gonna face a solid fighter. 14-0 ( I think, Know he's undefeated ) Kelvin Price but he had to pull out. Still these are getting old.

    Agreed. Wilder is developing at a slow pace but is also pretty irrelevant right now. He is simply developing right now and if someone is a fan you follow him, if you're not just don't pay much attention. I'd guess sometime in the next year or two he'll either step up to good competition or get exposed somewhere along the way.

    Atleast Manswell is another step up and probably the best fighter Wilder has faced, not too mention he's a replacement fighter. I'd also agree that he can take his time but atleast take small steps up and not go back to fighting homeless guys and town drunks.
