If this fight comes off in Khans next fight or even a little down the line.

I honestly still think that if Khan took this rematch (as he wants it..Garcia doesn't..but Golden Boy and money talks!) that Khan would fight more cautiously and win a wide UD but playing it a lot more safely this time around. Skill wise I think Khan already shown he's on a different level. But Garcia can bang and Khans chin isnt granite...so he's always in with a shout. This in some ways reminds me of Hearns vs Barkley 1..not quite as extreme a case but a clear case of one man walking it n whupping the other then that big equaliser comes.

And Khan weathered the storm vs Maidana who I'd guess hits harder than Garcia...So I don't buy into his chin is china. If you get caught with a bomb and you dont see it coming then its goodnight. Hearns chin wasn't granite but he was a skilled boxer with speed and power and exciting to watch. Khan in a similar way is exciting (but i'm not comparing them so much as you might think).

    Anyway......

Not khan thats for damn sure. Then again he could have a moment like ortiz had against berto.Very slim chance against a confident garcia.

    Khan.

Garcia got so lucky with that left hook. Ducking and swinging for the fences works sometimes. Specially when you have a fighter who goes in there looking to knock you out because he has been insulted like Dannys dad did. Fair play to him for getting Khan out of his groove.

Morales completely outboxed Danny for half the fight and he is a shot SFW. Khan just needs to take his time and know when to take Danny out. I actually felt Danny was about to start giving up after that 2nd round. Khan just needed to box him smart and pick him apart. He would have been ready for the taking in the late rounds.

I don't really think Maidana hits harder than Garcia. They both have looping shots. Maidana had less steam in round 10 compared to Garcia in round 3. But who knows. They've never hit me.

I believe if Khan boxes from the outside, he wins a wide UD or possibly stops Garcia. Khan should have boxed behind that long and strong pinpoint jab all night and forced Garcia to eventually walk into a big shot. Khan fought the wrong fight and paid for his reckless approach. I'm not sure what Khan or Roach were thinking?

I would pick Khan. If he fought Garcia the way he fought Maidana he would have won. He underestimated Garcia, came out cocky and paid the price.

Box, box, box and you win Khan.

Garcia didn't get 'lucky'. The counter left-hook was the very first punch he threw in the fight. He was looking for that shot for the whole fight.

If Khan seriously works on his defensive flaws and mindset in the ring, he could win. This is unlikely, however, so Garcia will probably win the rematch with another stoppage.

Garcia is a very unsuspecting killer.

Inside that boring style he holds a very dangerous weapon and mentality.

I think Khan would beat him second time around...

Just get rid of mistakes add patience and everything goes easy for him

    UD decision winning 8+ rounds...

Garcia. I tend to go with the guy who won the first in a rematch. I also supect that Khan is too set in his ways to make the adjustments he needs to make.

I think Danny Garcia is very underrated, as is his victory against Khan. Garcia again, TKO.

He is set in his ways

But the main reason he lost was a bad mentality thinking he'd walk over Garcia

Throwing an uppercut in such a way is super risky and he now knows he will get KTFO if he takes such risks.

    Look at it this way:

Khan wouldn't think twice about taking a rematch
Garcia will very much not want a rematch (he'd prefer to face old Morales again)

*unconfirmed* - Just as I post this it seems Garcia IS facing Morales in a rematch (LOL!)
