the money for the Cotto rematch is there. 1.5mil is a huge number and they will do it again. Floyd already knows he will win

This is the only person besides Martinez or Manny I'm ok with Floyd fighting. There were enough close rounds in he first fight to merit a rematch. I'd probably go. I'd be interested in seeing Cotto and Pedro make adjustments. A few tweaks here and there could have gone a long way.

Hopefully, Floyd rematching Cotto(e) is just another one of those dumb rumors that will barely get to his ear. Kind of like how they said Ellerbe was no longer working for him about a year or two ago, which he didn't find out about until way later.

Well, yeah. I'd rather Floyd just get in the gym then discuss his options. Kirkland is such a bum though I don't think I could bear to get hyped up for the fight :verysad

The money is definitely there, just wish he'd move onto another fighter. Not many fights left, don't want to see him beat someone he already beat.

Exactly. I think Floyd beats him to a far wider decision this time.. Although, he's the champion and will probably request 8oz gloves and try to stop Cotto. I like Cotto, no need to see Mayweather beat on him again.. Although he probably wants the payday.

there is nobody to move on to though. They were ready to do the Khan fight but then Khan got KO'd.

I rather even see Cotto(e) rematch emmanroid. Let see how this new Cotto(e) who has patched up his technical flaws does against emmanuel.

That's what makes me think this fight might actually happen.. I doubt the Martinez fight is happening right now, I'm 99% sure the Pac fight isn't happening right now, I have no clue who he'd fight...

But Pac won't go up in weight to fight him.. Don't think Cotto wants to go to 147, although he may have a change of heart since he's not champion anymore and he's seen Pac's last two fights.. (where did I hear that before.. Oh yeah, cherry picking with Freddie Roach )

Let's all hope emmanuel finally steps up. The longer he stalls, the more Floyd's offer of $40mil declines.

If Martinez wins that'd be the ideal fight I'd think. :ibutt

You think he'll be ready to fight by the end of the year? I think the Chavez Jr. fight is going to take a LOT out of him, win or lose. That would be a great fight, one I sadly admit I don't think Mayweather takes fresh out of jail..

Martinez better win and not blow his opp at a fight with one of the big names. I mean he's even getting a 24 7 for his next fight. HBO is trying to buildup whoever wins Sexy Sergio-Julio Jr.

If Martinez wins, it'll open up doors for him to fight peeps like Floyd, Cotto(e), Saul, etc.
