If 41 year old, injury laden Vitali retires after Charr, he's ducking?

My brittard sources inform me that if Vitali retires after the Charr fight, he will have effectively ducked Haye.

They then went on to tell me that Lennox Lewis (who retired at 38 and was not injury prone) did not duck a promised rematch with Vitali.

Can some other brittards explain this logic to me?

By the way I think 41 year old Vitali destroys Haye. Haye was about to fall down from exhaustion in round 5 against DEL BOY (Carl Thompson fight deja vu?). If Del Boy is landing on Haye when Haye actually throws, Vitali will land a LOT more.

Del boy hardly landed **** on too slick Haye..

Also, ducking a rematch, which is what Lennox probably did do, is very different to ducking an initial fight altogether....and don't talk about age. Although 41 is no spring chicken, Vitali has hardly had a tumultuous skill eroding career full of tough fights.

    Make the fight happen

lewis 'ducked' another tough fight with young lion vitaly which was his right. the only thing that sucked was that fans didn't get to see another very good hw fight (which have been and were hard to come by) and that lewis talked **** and waffled before retiring.

if vitaly retires after charr, it's a bit of a 'duck' of a haye fight although it's a bit different IMO. yes Haye looked very good vs 'del boy', but this was his first fight after engaging in a total lackluster effort vs wlad and haye has a bad history as far as making a fight with k2 (tho there's 2 sides to every story). most importantly, there's no guarantee to fans that we'd get a great fight. haye could well turtle up and not take risks (ala vs wlad) and be happy with another great pay day or haye could end up pulling out of a fight and thus dragging vitaly out another 6 months or a year. plus beating b- guys like chisora and any of haye's other hw victims is totally different from being able to make a war with an (aging) beast like vitaly

at least with older lewis and vitaly in the rematch that never happened we know we would've seen some fireworks and likely another great battle. we can't say that with old vitaly and haye

I think Charr is the fight he leave's on would like to see him fight Haye and if he doesnt oh well it wasnt like they fought a barn burner before and Haye got the short end of the stick and was promised a rematch and was never given one. Vitali owe's Haye nothing and if Klitschko wants to retire because his body breaking down or wants to go in to politics full time so be

**** David Haye. He hasn't earned the shot.

Vitali can retire with dignity. It's a shame his last fight won't be a barn-burner, but then, how many fighters ever retire on a fabulous win? Not many. Usually, it's either a lousy fight, or they hang on too long and retire after a few embarrassing loses.

Lewis won the first fight that´s a difference.

Vitali talked about Haye but did not fight him.

But i hope he will retire after Charr. 41 years is old and Vitali shows his age. Vitali in his prime would won against Haye but now it is a different story.

Haye ducked him twice , once he went for Valuev and second time for Chisora, so **** him and his brittard fans.
