Antonio Demarco would be a tough, TOUGH test for Adrien Broner.

I respect broner for getting right to business and calling out a lightweight champion in tony demarco. people don't respect what demarco brings to the table but he's got power, a chin, and heart, plus he's big. that's a tall task for a young fighter, regardless of skills. broner makes a statement if he impressively beats demarco.

Da Problem would have to go into the fight with the mentality that he may have to fight to a decision against Demarco whom we all know can take some very good punches.

yup. he gotta bring his A-game. be physically and mentally prepared to get hit with big punches and go the distance.

we still havent truly seen how big Broners heart and chin is.

IF Broner could get passed a DeMarco then we can start paving the road for something special...

Not overrating Tony, Just sayin' DeMarco will help us separate Hype from Truth.
(Just like he did Vs. Valero)

I still wanna see a Broner/Lundy fight first just for the pre fight buildup. Their twitter war they had a couple of months ago was hilarious but I rather see it in a press conference environment.:yep

Same Antonio DeMarco who struggled against journeyman Reyes Sanchez, got beat from pillar to post by Edwin Valero, was getting beat by Agnes Adjaho before he was "knocked out" while trying to fake a DQ, and was getting his ass kicked by Linares for the first eight or so rounds? Yeah, sure :hi:

It's not a horrible fight, but only because 135 is such a horrible weight class right now. If you wamnt Broner to get tested, stick him in there with Miguel Vazquez.

Broner is tremendous fighter. i feel as if broner lovers are hyping demarco up to make broner look like a boss when he completely dominates him . an if he a wins close fite then they still look good .

if this fight happens we will see what demarco is about not what broner is about. IMO i already see something special in broner. all these people hate on broner for sum reason , but i got nothing but love for him hes truly amazing. 22 yrs old, 4 kids where does he find the time to box. he was put here to box. all everyone does is bring up the PDL fight. well just think about this. broner was like 20 years old when that fite happened. ponce was like 28 yrs old. u think hes gunna let a 20 year dominate. a 28 year old solid pro grown man can give a kid that isnt even fully grown fits in the ring everytime they fight.

now for the record PDL clearly beat broner IMO, but that fite made Broner a way better fighter that expierence did nothing but good for him. demarco might have a decent jab goin in the fite . but nothin to keep broner off him and nothing that gunna hurt broner

But Broner didnt get dominated like Demarco did once before. broner didnt even actually get dominated . he just clearly lost a decision to me. However Demarco did get dominated but imo a much better fighter in valero. did demarco improve after that? . i can honestly say IDK if he did or not. Demarco never really impressed me. he does a good job stickin to gameplan stayin patient. hanging in there and gettin a late tko like he did vs kid diamond and linares.

Broner knockouts or demarco or refs stops something along those lines . broner kills demarco to the body. demarco cant hit broner . thats how this fite goes. ill put everything on it.

good post. agree with just about everything u said. fyi im not just all of sudden hyping Demarco because Broner called him out. ive been giving him props and admiring his skills long before that. i actually made a thread on this fight a while ago.

but yeah, i also thought the PDL vs Broner fight was close. whats annoying is the fact that everyone likes to bring it up as Broner got a whooping or something. bottom line is, if anything, Broner was just outworked by an experienced veteran. he was 20 and has improved signicantly since then. anyone who hasnt noticed that must be a blind hater.

but yeah like i said. good post :good

The kind of guy that would give the Problem problems is someone like Gamboa, who switches between attacking with blistering speed and power and moving on the outside with his excellent upper body movement.

It would be surely. Demarco is a very good fighter. I got Broner by not 1-sided but clear UD or late TKO. Demarco would scoop up 2-3 or so rounds and make Broner work for it.

Got hit way too much against Linares. If Linares had some serious power he would have gotten AD out of there in 5 or 6. Broner is all wrong for AD even though I will be rooting for the Mexican. I'm expecting a blowout but hoping for a war. Bring it on. Winner of Mitchell-Burns would be ok as well.
