The fight "will probably be in England, on pay-per-view, possibly in March - it's all in Haye's hands" says Bernt Boente.

David Haye has been given fresh hope of a clash with Vitali Klitschko after the WBC champ's manager claimed it could happen in March in London.

And Bernt Boente also refused to rule out a possible rematch with Vitali's younger brother Wladimir.

Haye is back in the world heavyweight title mix after his stunning KO of Dereck Chisora 12 days ago and Boente claims Vitali could face him here in the spring in what would be a huge pay-per-view fight.

"Vitali meets Manuel Charr in September and then goes on the political campaign trail at the Ukraine elections, which are held in October," said Boente.

"He has to win his fight and then see the outcome of the elections. Then Vitali must decide what to do if he is not elected into a certain position.

"There is still a chance the fight will come, but not this year. It will probably be in England on pay-per-view next year, possibly in March."

Boente claims Haye pulled out of negotiations to meet Vitali in September because the former WBA champ felt Chisora was an easier payday.

"Haye knew the date and the details and everything was fine but then, because of the brawl in the Munich, decided to fight Dereck Chisora," said the German.

"They chose that fight because they got a good deal and an easier opponent because you cannot compare Vitali with Dereck."

Boente claims a second fight with WBA Super, IBF and WBO king Wladimir is not impossible, although he says dealing with Haye is infuriating.

"I will not exclude anything," he said. "I have learnt from past dealings that you can't rely on anything he says or does.

"He is like a fish in water - you can't catch him.

"It's all in Haye's hands. Whatever he wants, he just needs to approach us."

Well Vitali tried to fight Haye for years. Haye clearly decided it was the best thing to avoid a fight with Vitali until he saw a weakness vs Chisora...So Haye ducked first really, now Vitali is ducking for sure...

Do you guys think Sky would put this on PPV if this was in London? Demand would be big from UK viewers?

I'm not holding my breath. Vitali could go on to win the election, and even if he doesn't, I'm not convinced a Haye fight is good for him at 41

Yes I think he won a bit of respect back after Chisora, also it depends how dominant Vitali looks against Charr fight.

Yep - Sky jumped straight back on Haye's nutsack after Chisora. They had him back in the studio and all they would talk about was a potential Haye - Vitali fight. They also had him and Booth talking live with Bendt Bundy to discuss the Vitali fight. They're clearly showing that they're interested in buying this fight, and that's what it takes to get a Klitschko fight - Big Money.
