Was just wondering what's up with Cello Renda? Is he on summer holiday or training? Any info about when his next fight might be?

To be honest, he needed to take an extended break, for a young lad he had already been in a few rings wars and it was porbably effecting his health. He needed this extended break to recuperate.

He was always in a good fight and it will be good to see him back in the ring. Does need to work on a few things though if he wants to become British champ

Has`nt Renda already made his comeback?? Im sure earlier in the year Renda fought on a Hatton card shown on HattonTV on youtube. Renda boxed all the way in that fight and showed alot more maturity in his work. Renda stated that fans will see a new Renda who boxes not slugs it out.

Yes, he had a 4 rounder in March. I remember in the interview he said something that he has been focusing on his boxing skills whereas before he just came in and tried to knock the other guy out. I saw that fight, I don't remember where, and also to me it looked there was much more thinking behind his boxing.

I just thought it wouldn't take this long till we hear from him again, if not see him in the ring. Should he step back in the ring or not, I just hope all is well with him.

Thought he was fighting Samuels again early in the new season.

September fight didn't happen. In his twitter he was talking today about taking a fight next week. Wayne Elcock was talking about his fight next week also. Neither of these fights appear in Boxrec so I'd guess the whole card has not been submitted to boxrec for some reason. Both guys seem to be excited about their fights, hopefully it will become reality this time.

It appears the fight will be Nov 27th... which is... like tomorrow... it's still not in Boxrec but Cello said in his twitter he'll fight on Tuesday in London for "International Masters" title (what ever that is?) and couple of weeks ago this was published:

To me it seems the opponent is a Latvian journeyman who takes on pretty much anyone. As an opponent I guess he's ok for some one who has fought as little as Cello recently has. But in any kind of title fight I'm not so sure... so far he's had only 4 and 6 rounders in his 31 fights. I understood this was going to be 10 rounds.
