You don't have to be an "intellectual elite" to be successful. In fact, this forum has many wannabe intellectuals in the lounge section who try to sound idealistic and philosophical. What are they doing? They're either broke or unemployed.

If he's not clever, how does he manage to do so well for himself despite being a high school dropout? Most rappers are one hit wonders.

Richard seems to be fine with having 50 Cent as a promoter and is eager to cross-promote. He's interested in Gamboa-Broner.

Oscar started it, he caught feelings because he knows 50 and Mayweather are making a move on him

If 50 Cent is what counts as a "genius" these days, it's no wonder the world is going down the crapper. Mayweather jr. cannot work with Top Rank, so starting your promotional career by alienating the other major promoter in the business is a tremendously stupid move. Floyd is 35 and won't be around for much longer. Who are the potential members of his stable going to fight if they are barred from TR and GBP? The man can't even spell ffs.

He manages to do well because a large portion of the poppulation are even dumber than him and buy his horrible records. Seriously. Look at those tweets and tell me that is the work of a clever man. Not only are they infantile, badly spelled and without grammar - it is also incredibly stupid to fall out with one of the two major promoters before you even get started in the business - especially when your bff can't work with the other major promoter either.

People laugh, but 50 is pretty good with his legitimate business ventures. I can a lot of up and coming fighters potentially signing with 50's promotion, or top fighters defecting. Especially if Al Haymon is involved. 50 could appeal to young black fighters ala Don King in his heyday.

I see some people on here laughing at the suggestion that 50 maybe richer than Oscar, the truth is, he very well might be, this is the guy who hustled $100 mil from vitamin water, $80 million from reebok, that's without his albums (some of which sold very very well) touring, g unit merchandise, artists from his label, acting etc etc the list goes on....50 is ridicolously rich

Floyd is 36, and in jail lol with maybe 2 years left of fighting, which barely means two fights. Big ****ing deal.

Gamboa is 30 or so and while talented, isn't making anyone any money.
