    It Dave Birchell, a pretty handy fighter in his day. I think injury's might have cut his career short and I think hes a trainer now in Sydney.

    Birchy was one of KTs sparring partners in his leadup to the Shamba Mitchell fight, he was also a silver medalist at the commonwealth games and my opponent for the main event in Kostyas 1st Crewfighter, there is a couple of photos of me in Kostyas Book, i think Whipper is also in the book, pumper best you get out and buy the book so you have some new pictures to post hahaha! Birchys a top bloke.

    Back on topic, here is the 6th Round in which McCubin throws in the towel, imho he was stupid to do so, Callum could have won that fight if he had held out for 20 seconds, had McCubin had a stop watch with him in the corner he would have known this and not thrown in the towel but apparently wins dont mean jack sht to him and he was more concern with Calum walking out of the ring without a scratch on his face. Best suited as a ballet coach than a boxing trainer i rekon.

    He got up from the bodyshot and the towel was thrown in shortly after. Yet you would have people try and make you belive that McCubin did the right thing, i strongly dissagree. As you can see by the footage, Callum was hit by a jab after he got back up and then McCubin throws in the Towel hahaha pmsl at the armchair experts who defended mcCubins actions that night. fcking morons

    I defended your view point in this thread but that video was nothing like you described, that was a good stoppage, the guy was getting bashed. I don't see where he went down from a body shot either.

    People get droped and get back up, move around then the bell sounds, whys this any diffrent? well because imo McCubin threw in the towel prematurely, if he was getting bashed black and blue then why didnt the ref stop the fight? Towel was thrown in over a jab, he got up from the bodyshot didnt he? Wasnt he all smiles after the bout and did he or did he not look ok? Give the guy a chance, 20 more seconds he would have won the fight but he wasnt given that oppertunity and im a fan of Callum, i think the guy has some potential but has to move on from McCubin whom imo is holding this kid back. You have to learn how to swim one way or another and cant have someone holding your hand or putting floaties on you every time you have a dip.
