Lewis got his rematches vs Rahman and McCall. Why was there any need to rematch guys that knocked out his ass cold?

You definately managed to confuse me. Byrd, Purity and Sanders won their matches. Why would they want rematches? Because they lost to the other brother? But Byrd for example got a rematch. So what's the thread about?

Lewis fight was the most controversial of all those fights. Since Lewis had his ass beaten around until Vitali got cut by the side of the glove which is a real freak. BTW Lewis could have had the biggest payday of his life instead he chose to retire with a

Spot on mate. :good Not that a check for $30m should have mattered. Great champions don't bow out leaving unfinished business.

Lewis did not need to rematch Vitali as well as Vitali didn't need it either. If Lewis came back and stopped Vitali he wouldn't be where he is today. Vitali still hasn't fought Rahman he retired and gave up the belt then came back after he lost it. Never understood that

The Lewis-Klitschko fight was NOT controversial.
All it did was separate the boys from the men:
there are those that understand and respect the rules of boxing, and then there are those who like to say that you actually won when you were ahead on points but got technically knocked the **** out. Vitali looked like Michael Myers, Jason Vorhees and Fred Krueger gang-raped him.

  11. Good question, according to the klittards, a fight with vitali = Wlad rematch

Also. Thompson and Peter got rematches, but not sanders????

vitali beat byrd for nearly every round then with the finish line in sight, he quit, i think that is calling for a rm more than lewis fight.

  13. Apparently quitting on your stool doesn't count as a loss
