Wlad tried to rematch both of them. But neither accepted the immediate rematch, and both went directly on losing streaks while Wlad won titles which forbade him from accepting challenges from unranked fighters.

Sanders, probably woulda found a way to KO Wlad again...styles make fights and Sanders had his number:good, but the Boss had nothing except his iron chin to keep him in a fight with Wlad. His power was up there too, but he was far to slow and plodding to ever land anything meaningful on any version of Wlad. That is except the stationary target he was able to tee off on when Wlad gassed trying to starch him.:deal

He let Vitali do it for him. Vitali was just the better of the two no matter how you look at it. Vitali is mean and that is what you need to be a fighter. Wlad is to gay acting and he cant take a punch for ****. Steward is the only reason Wlad is where he is today. Steward showed Wlad the art of jab and grab. Boring as hell and a coward way of boxing. WLad lost those fights to tomato cans like Sanders and Purity due to his weak chin. And he still has a weak chin he just learned out to fight like a coward and hide it. No way in hell Wlad would be able to fight Vitalis style because he would get hit.

Corrie dropped WBO belt to fight for more prestigious WBC belt cause at the time it was not possible to have WBC belt while having WBO title, WBC politics. WBO was lightly regarded one of the reasons why Vitali quit so easily against Byrd.

Sanders fought a few times after he lost to Vitali, in his next fight he fought then Russian Champion Alexey Varakin KD him 5 times (this happen same year as Vitali fight), 2 rd KO. After that had 2 more wins until losing only in 2008 which really looked like a dive. I think Wlad or his promoter (or both) didnt want to take the risk.

Ross Purity had a bad record but good KO power, stamina (guess thats easy when u arent doing much), great chin look at his record in 54 fights he was stopped three times twice on cuts his only genuine KO loss was in his SECOND fight against unbeaten fighter with only KO wins. Vitali stopped him on cut in 11 and this was before the layoff Vitali. Same thing as with Sanders too much risk.

OP, you think Sanders would get paid $3m to fight Wlad for the WBO? That's what he picked up for Vitali.

Sanders was planning for a rematch fight with Wlad, but he took a liver shot from a nobody and retired. Puritty went on a losing streak for a while and turned down a rematch with Wlad when the opportunity arose. You can't force a fighter into the ring with you.

Sanders got 125 000 for fighting Wlad. Thats 24 times less than for Vitali.

a faded wlad instead of a prime wlad, would have murdered sanders?

how, by tripping him up over Wlads prostrate carcass in round 1?

if he WOULD have murdered corrie, then he had every reason not to run in gibbering fear from sanders. yet he sprinted away in gibbering fear, crying his eyes out, sweating profusely and screaming like a girl. Shame he wasn't running against Usain Bolt that day, he'd have beat Usain's world record.

Because he got savagely KOd. (Sanders)

If you think he or his management wanted a rematch you know absolutely nothing about boxing. Nothing.

When you say murdered, you mean jabbed and grabbed for 12 rounds surely?

If Wlad is frightened to engage small cruisers... what's he gonna be like vs a guy who had him crawling around the canvas like a drunk looking for loose change.:rofl:patsch
