Anyone who says Duran's defense was mediocre doesnt know **** about boxing.

Duran has one of the greatest defenses ever specially for such an offensive minded fighter.

He rarely got hit clean and he rolled with punches as well as anybody in the history of the sport, he was also a master feinter.

You said Duran would be scared to throw punches because of Floyd's counter-punching ability would supposedly hurt him. I asked you to show me ONE fight where Duran was scared to get hit because he was worried about getting hurt.

Now it's your turn to do some research cause I'm still waiting.

My last post should tell u plenty. You think FLoyd jr. can't crack as hard as 5'6 De jesus? You think SRL was able to hurt Duran too? like he did on the first fight right or the second fight huh? Just admit u made a ******ed statement. So you think Floyd was able to hurt everyone he has fought which is why he can get a decision? Just face it you got nothing.

If you really want to go there about FINDING YOU ONE FIGHT we can go there. You will regret bc i'm about to make you look like an even bigger fool than you already are.

I would make him a big underdog vs both Leonard & Duran but I think he has the best chance vs Duran, it would have to be by the hit & run strategy if he were to pull it off... he wouldn`t pull it off vs any good version of Duran IMO but thats his best shot.

He doesn`t beat Leonard in a million years.

Now we're down to boxrec warrior talk..this is hilarious. I suppose this guy really had Duran hurt too huh, just like Leonard did in both their fights? (I thought they fought three times, but what do I know)

Wow I'm really learning a lot.

    Read your own ******ed post.

" First of all Mayweather couldn't KO Duran if he wanted to, and show me one fight were Duran was scared of a counter-puncher who couldn't hurt him, I don't need 5-10 but one would be nice.

And assuming you know as much as you say you do about boxing, then you'd know the way to slow down someone who's going to try and move throughout the fight is to punch to the body.

And watch Duran - Moore if you want to see someone try and escape from Duran. He spun him around and literally threw him against the ropes and simply wouldn't let him escape. Now I know Floyd's miles better than Moore but the beating Duran put on him was really one for the ages. He destroyed a younger, perhaps faster, bigger fighter, with absolute ease.

Watch SRL against Duran too. He tried to do basically the same thing you're telling me Mayweather would do. But someone better than Mayweather, namely SRL, was unsuccessful at it. "

The point is that if Duran is willing to stand and trade with Leonard, Hearns, Hagler or Barkley (all of whom hit harder than Floyd) then how is Floyd going to keep him off with his pot shotting? Floyd doesn't have single shot power that is comparable with those guys.

floyd has never beat the living **** out of anyone outside of Arturo Gatti, any version of Duran pre Leonard 2 would **** floyd up & badly maybe with the exception of the Dejesus 1 version & floyd would have his hands full with that version as well.
