Grachev is a good opponent for Bute to begin to prepare for Froch 2.

Don't you think? Bute clearly has so much skill and power but no chin or punch resistance :-(.

Grachev KTFO'd Sillakh, A better, more skilled fighter then him just on having well more power and chin. He will test Butes chin if he gets the shot, and who knows, Maybe he'll fail.

What do you think of the fight on Nov. 3rd.

    agreed 100%

good job on picking a solid tune up for Froch. Out of everyone available Pavlik and Grachev were the 2 best options and Grachev's output and pressure is closer to Froch's.....good choice!

Could Grachev even make 168, or would Bute go up to 175 (bad idea).
That would be a good test fight for him though. raw guy, decent
    chin, good power.

Sadly, I can't see it either. Unless his punch resistance dramatically improved. Which I also can't see :conf

I think Bute learnt his lesson from that loss against Froch and he will try to outbox this guy , use more his footwork , lateral movement , hand speed , etc . i don't think he will be " hypnotized " again as he was in Froch fight :yep:cool:

Bute might be ruined after Froch. He's going to get more flashbacks than a Korean war vet wandering into his local convenience store.

The perfect opponent to get the Bute express believing again, just to get owned by Froch, hope he loses purely so we don't have to see a rematch.

I gotta give Bute's management credit. They are great at creating illusions. I mean i don't think is there anyone better for that than Grachev. But honestly i can't believe in Bute anymore until i see him at least go 12 rounds with Froch and lose a close fight.
