Green vs Haye at dannyweight?

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Phill-Mitchell, Jul 26, 2012.

  1. Obviously in his cruiser prime Haye struggled a bit to make weight, could the extra few pounds of dannyweight be enough to drain Haye so Danny could win?

I'm not real big on Haye, but he'd smash Leapai, Green, and you on the same ****en night silly sally.

  5. After leapai got stopped by Johnson i don't think he could take much at all off Haye and to stop him you need to be able to, Haye would take leapai out in the first three rounds

no he wouldnt. id tackle the **** round the legs, green would come over the top, and alex would ground and pound.

johnson was all wrong for alex. short neck, good defence, well skilled. but it was a learning fight for alex. you learn more from a loss...

correct me if im wrong but haye has been ko'd? his chin has been questioned? that alone gives alex a great shot at stopping haye...

I've heard this suggested a few times, and as someone that DOES like Danny. I agree. It's not a fight I think Green has a chance in. Haye to quick, too slick. Even 'weight drained' I'd be concerned of Haye's power causing a forced stoppage.
