I'm not biased towards Morales at all. I just feel when it came down to ranking a Mexi ATG list Morales would be in the bottom 10 ahead of Marquez and Barrera.

I feel I've split enough hairs to defend Morales decently, whereas most are saying "Marquez by longevity" just because he didn't really beat anyone from 122-26 besides *gulp* Gainer.

Its like no one ever saw any of Morales' early work and are going solely based on Pacquiao fights IMO.

You can't pick one over the other. They are one and the same. They are the holy trinity.

Either way I take Vincente Saldivar over the lot of em'! And I am not certain any of the 3 make a Mexican top 10 atg list?

Saldi was a top top flight ATG.

    for the record:

    Chavez
    Olivares
    Sanchez
    Saldivar
    Canto
    Zarate
    Morales
    Lopez (Finito)

Let the rest fight it out like Baby, Marquez, Barrera, Herrera, Castllo, etc. for the top 10 honours.

close but morales takes it. he beat the crap out of jones, something barrera couldnt do and didnt norwood duck morales? pretty sure thats true. his body of work is better and the only thing that keeps Marquez in the discussion is being able to bother pacquiao every fight.

Marquez' best W is over a past it Barrera, then an old casamayor, and juan diaz who really is no better than a mccollough or a chavez that morales beat the crap out of. he ducked Prince Naseem and lost to Norwood as well

I alway include Mantequilla Jose Napoles on a Mexican list as well. Cuban born, but a mexican citizen...Most mexicans I know call him one of their own!

Kid Azteca & Jose Becerra should round out the top 10....These 3 should fight for spots 11-15 or so IMHO!

too many people giving credit to Marquez for giving Pac a hard time. This is not because he is greater than the two but rather stylistic difference.
