amen Morales fought Pacquiao on fumes and legitimately beat him. beat him well enough to CLOWN on his ass in the 12th round in a southpaw position. Morales is the embodiment of baddassery. When Marquez is CLOWNIN on Pacquiao in the 12th round like beat down Morales did, then you can talk to me about comparisons. And for the ******s that think Barrera > Morales..... C'mon now, Morales beat dudes that whipped the **** out of Barrera. Styles make fights and Barrera was a tough stylistic match up for a lankier Morales, and yet Morales overcame that style to pretty much stalemate with Barrera. Morales is a gangster, and he wins fights off his G'ness alone. RUn that through y'all heads! Oh and Morales in MY book is unofficially a champion in FIVE different divisions. Haters gonna hate!
Oh **** watch if you dare!!! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rN1o6mmXoJQ[/ame] But you might see a glimpse of Superman's hero himself!
Marquez <=> Morales either one....... they both surpass >Barrera And that comes from me who fell in love with the sport watching Barrera in my teens.
That's odd I've looked at multiple tthreads on this and always thought that the general consensus was that barrera was the best of the 3 with marquez the second and morales last. I need to rewatch a few fights because I couldn't decide the order.
I tend to agree with the thread title, but I can also see valid arguments ranking these 3 in every way conceivable. I tend to think... 1. Morales 2. Barrera 3. Marquez But then I think of the fact that Barrera arguably beat Morales 3 times, and it makes it a tad difficult for me to put him ahead of Barrera. And strong arguments can be made for putting Marquez ahead of both of them too. I tend to believe Morales' resume has a little extra punch to it, though. So even though I am not voting, I think I do essentially agree with the thread title. :smoke
