According to Eddie Chambers' Facebook account:

    Edward Chambers
Congratulations to Steve Cunningham for signing with Main Events... And moving up to the heavyweight division!

I think Cunningham beats Chambers. I'd also like to see a rematch with Adamek. The first fight was great, with Adamek winning a close decision.

Really?!? :blood ALthough he basicly IS a cruiserweight of course.
I would like to see that too, but I believe USS lacks the power and the chin to compete with fully fledged HW's

USS was badly hurt in his last two fights with Hernandez. Those were very heavy knockdowns. Good heavyweight will hurt him even more.

the 2 Hernandez fights have taken their toll, I don't think USS will do better at HW, a rematch with Adamek would be best for him

USS is a big boy for the cruiser division, wonder if the weight cut was hampering him.

It's true he's a skinny guy. If he adds muscle and core strength, he could be 225. But at 36, he doesn't have tune his body to the new build. I imagine USS won't take more than 1 tune-up before a major bout.

Alot of fighters are signed with Main Events now. Chambers, Jennings, and Cunningham claim they are friends and they won't fight each other (unless a title is on the line). But Main Events also has Liakovitch and Solis...I could see one of these guys being matched with Cunningham.

Lets see if he goes after a rematch with Adamek.

That would be a killer fight. But only if Adamek goes back down to 217lbs. He looked bad at 225lbs. vs. Chambers.

In order for that rematch to happen Adamek has to want the fight. If Adamek is going the IBF route then he won't be freed up for a while.

Come to think of it as a former IBF titlist USS ought to be ranked by the IBF...I'm surprised he hasn't been considered for the tourney. Maybe he signed with Main Events a little too late.

Rumor has it USS might fight on Sep 8.

cunningham will be a good heavyweight until his chin gets cracked. he should take on somebody like nagy aguilera to gauge his hw potential.

Adamek-Cunningham II is a perfect headliner for a NBC Sports card considering the deal they have with Main Events.
