This would have been a intriguing match-up and both of these guys hit hard. Who do you think wins this slug fest.

I love it- the British body beautiful against the guy who never met a twinky he didn't like.

I am going out on a limb and saying Witherspoon. When he was in even marginaly good shape, he had excellent boxing skills, a good beard, and a good right hand.

Haye definately more powerful, but I don't think he matches Bonecrusher Smith for power, and we all saw in the first fight that terrible Tim could take punches from Bonecrusher. The second fight was almost thrown due to lack of interest from being ripped off by Don King.

Witherspoon shatters Haye's glass jaw. Early and often.

Spoon wins eaisly. really really easy pick for me and it should be for everyone. haye is unproven at heavyweight against anyone the level of Witherspoon.

Agreed. That seems like the most likely outcome in my mind.

    Haye by wide UD.

Witherspoon never had the kind of handspeed to catch Haye. Haye could pick his shots early and often and open up on TT whenever he had a notion.

Now, TT could pull a KO off at any time, that is of Haye grew tired over the rds, but chances are Tim would take too many shots off his face and would be bloodied to a point a good ref would call it halts after about 7-8 rds.:think
