The hate for dIrell is really ******ed on this forum. It isn't deserving based on what happened. I could say if he bite someones face off in the ring, or hit someone after a fight, hell even if he repeatedly failed to make weight, or anything like this. You have guys on this forum saying AD is a bad investment, that he isn't very good. I mean wtf?? This guy should have got the decision from Froch, in my opinion. He did study falling down stuff at times, this is because he wasn't as mature as Ward. AD acted like a young fighter, but despite that I don't think Froch did enough, and I'm more of a fan of Froch then him.

All this guy did was pretty much arguably beat Froch and after schooling abraham get hit when he was on the canvas hard. And everyone hates him. This **** is absolutely ridiculous. AD has great talent, but he was moved probably too early. I don't think he was ready for the big stage at the time, even though he did really good. He is in the perfect position, he hasn't really been beaten convincingly, and has a lot of gifts and talents. He has been working with the mayweathers a lot since the Abraham fight and you know it has paid off.

He has great potential, hopefully he has matured. People hating this guy for absolutely nothing, basically hating him on assumptions that he really didn't have a brain injury.

 

Dirrell is another Victor Ortiz in the making !

 

So what? 50 Cent bringing that ignorant "beef" crap to the game BEFORE he is even in it gives me the chills. Boxing and Boxing fans have lost enough with the GBP and Top Rank beef and those guys are decent enough to be relatively civil in the media. The route taken by 50 already seems to signal even less cooperation among top level promotional outfits.

I am happy to see young Brothas getting money, but I damn sure don't want some BS where all the Black fighters are going TMT, the (non-Black) hispanics go GBP/Top Rank, and then we are all stuck watching in-house fights or A+ versus B- fights while the promoters posture and quarrel on FaceBook. Talk about a disgusting situation...

I hope something good is in store for Gamboa and Dirrell. In that order. I hope Dirrell gets it all together.

 

Unlike PrinceN (and you, incidentally), race isn't a factor in whether I support a guy or not. So I'm not bothered by the fact there's no top American white fighters.
