Vladimir Hriunov, manager of WBA "regular" HW champion Alexander Povetkin (24-0, 15 KO) believes it possible that early next year his fighter will square off with the "Super" World Boxing Association Champion Wladimir Klitschko (58-3, 51 KO). Hriunow is not bothered that the camp of "Dr. Steelhammer" isn't naming Povetkin as a possible opponent and reminds that the federation ordered negotiations to make the fight to define the WBA undisputed HW champion.

"The federation has it's rules, from 2nd December we should start the negotiations, and the fight should happen no later than March 2013", says the manager of the undefeated Russian, adding, "Alexander's main aim is to face a Kllitschko in the ring".

anyone believe his manager? will Povetkin finally take this fight? or will we see another duck from him?

The only way this happens is if the WBA FORCES POVETKIN... "fight or be stripped"

    About time, if true.

I'm not holding my breath, though.

This:deal.. Even if Povetkin took a step back in his fight vs. Huck. He still has that zero in the lose column, 2 past Champions in his victory list, and some decent contender victories as well....

I'll believe it when I see it. Povetkin has made it very clear that he wants to fight Wlad as much as Solis wants a can of slim fast.

But I really hope it happens.

I'd buy tickets for Wlad - Povetkin but the problem is you never know if Povetkin shows. Would get a hotel that allows me to cancel until 24 hours before the fight.

Or, if Povetkin visits the Wizard and asks for courage.

I can't belief in Povetkin or his people. He is a coward.

If Wlad fights him sometime, good. If not, who cares. There are other opponents who actually want to fight.
