Questioning Bute`s opposition level in a tune-up despite top 15 ranking ...

He beat Sillakh. this is a good fight for Luscious Lu.

 

I bet Lucian frequently wakes up in a cold sweat after dreaming he just put pen to paper on a contract to fight Carl Froch.

 

I think Froch will do Bute again btw, Bute just isn't as good as I thougt or at least didn't look it, admitted I've seen little before that last 1. Froch just looked better, even faster which is usually his weakness. Fair play, nothing against this one though. Everyone was jumping on that Silkah's nuts and Grachev KO'd him, so what's wrong?

 

He's gonna rematch him in March. Bute ain't scurred.

Had he lost by decision I may agree somewhat ..But Froch walked through him ..Its not going to end well for Lucian ..But my concern with this next fight is he rangy like Froch ?

Is there anything that this guy does that Froch does ? He needs to be fighting the styles of Froch not just a guy who he can make a name of if he is truly for that rematch against the Cobra ..

 

The good thing here is that I know you know enough about boxing to know that you're displaying nothing more than blind optimism here TT.
If this was anyone else you'd be firmly on the side of common sense.
There's more chance of Leonard-Duran IV than there is of a repeat of the result you've used as an example.

Sorry Porge but I don't believe you.The only people who can look at the first fight and favour Bute in the rematch are rabid hardcore Bute fans.
And Steve "I'm a complete wanker" Gilfoid.
If you can show me one thing from the first fight or a fact from the build up or aftermath that suggests Bute will win,I'd be very keen to hear it.

 

Bute kept getting hit with the second shot Froch threw, the left hook over top of Lu's low right.

Lu keeps his guard up like he was taught to at age 9 and circles smartly he wins handily.
