Can't believe this crap. One right after the other. Proksa will prob need a small miracle to even survive against Golovkin & Adamek will get stopped faster than Vitali beat him down by Travis Walker.

Funny thing is this...(actually NOT so funny:twisted:)...

Last year Adamek got destroyed the day after my birthday & this year its gonna happen again the day before my birthday.

    I mean

6'-4 1/2", 82" reach compared to 75" for Adamek, he stopped Kali Meehan in 6 recently.

But after further investigation, I've discovered this:

Walker is 39-7, with only 5 KO's, so thats a plus for Adamek. And heres a bigger plus:

Travis Walker was stopped in 6 by Jonathan Banks, who Adamek brutally KO'ed...but that was at Cruiserweight.

So maybe I'm jumping to conclusions & Adamek does outbox this big chump.

    :!:

But what about Proksa? Is he slick enough to make the Rusky look foolish in there?

Banks has a heavier punch than Adamek :bbb

but I disagree, I think Adamek will outbox Walker, obviously if he goes back to 215, 225 for him is too much, there's always the puncher's chance he get's KO'd, but that's HW boxing

I just hope you're not a bad prophet :deal

Yes, Adameks weight at 225lbs was another reason I don't like what I'm seeing. I was at the Chambers fight in Newark, & that wasn't the Adamek I know, as far as fast combo's.

And he struggled to carry the extra weight. He was pacing himself all night, fearing gassing out being heavier. But in the last round, when he knew he had some left in the tank, he poured it on & THAT was the Adamek I know!

    Adamek beats Walker.

As far as Proksa who knows... Big step up on short notice against a solid hard hitting techinical fighter with a great pedigree. Will be Proksas toughest fight to date, which is why I am not happy with him taking this on short notice. You can say the same for Golovkin, except he has a full camp. This fight will tell us a lot about him as well. Sometimes I think Golovkin is pumped a bit too much, without actually being challenged yet.

I have no opinion on the Proksa - Golovkin fight. I think that after 3 rounds in that fight we will know the likely winner.

Jetski, I can't tell if you're joking around or trying to build up some possible excitement for Adamek/Walker or what.... but this shouldn't be a hard time for him.
If Adamek does lose this fight then I think it's time for him to either hang it up or move back down.

Walker's a fun guy to watch but he's as chinny as they come. A KO stoppage over Meehan in 2012 isn't all that meaningful.

No, I was serious. I didn't like what I saw in the Chambers fight with Adamek weighing too much & couldn't get off those nice combo's. I'm sure Walker would attack hard right off the bat. He'd be a fool not to.

If Adamek could take 10 rounds of pounding from Vitali, maybe Walker won't be as dangerous as I'm predicting & Tomasz can get the job done.

    That would be nice.

But I'd really like to see Proksa shock the world. He's gonna have to be a magician on Sept. 1st. for that to happen.

Walker has alot of time to prepare for this fight. If Walker shows up in optimal condition then Adamek will need to be on the move the whole night and hope his workrate and boxing skills get him the victory.

Walker is an interesting opponent for Adamek in that he's big enough that Adamek will have trouble reaching that chin but (like Vitali, and unlike Grant) Walker is also fairly quick. Walker loses fights because he takes too many chances and forgets about technique in the heat of the moment.
