No, completely different. Griffin was on the ground and the action was stopped (or supposed to be). Mayweather hit Ortiz legally (like it or not) when action was continued. Plus RJJ got disqualified while Mayweather got the win.

Way of topic BTW and I'm done guessing. I'm throwing in the towel.

Can you read? Total punches between two fighters in a SINGLE ROUND.

It's all good brother. I know the suspense is killing people, but when the answer comes out, a lot of people here will be like, "who the ****" though one of the fighters garnered reasonable fame as a brawler and had many televised fights.

OK, so who holds the record for the LEAST amount of punches thrown (or landed) in a single round, but still winning the fight?

Doesn't have to be compu-box, but must have been broadcast on a major network.
I'm guessing Haye (against Valuev) but it could also be Floyd.

    No, wait, it's Willie Pep.

Probably John Ruiz whom Tua KO'ed without John throwing or landing a single punch.

For a long time I thought it was the fight between Ivan Robinson and Philip Holiday. Guess I was wrong.

Either that or I would have guessed pretty much any fight with Ray Olivera. I've never seen someone so consistently melt the compubox, round after round, fight after fight like Sucra Ray.
