Can these 2 talented kids make it as far as the 2 legends? Or even further?

Ward has the talent and the discipline to do it i can see him go very far and maybe even as far as those two in the sport of boxing.

But Broner wont get nowhere near any of those guys, hes all hype doesnt have the talent nor the discipline to achieve half of those two achieved and will be exposed sooner rather than later.

I agree, ward has the goods. Broner might be successful but I think he's mostly hype.

Ward is the only boxer now I see becoming great. Broner is just a good fighter to talk about but we need to learn to let fighters and athletes in general grow instead of calling them a "next (insert legend of the same sport)". Learned my lesson and I wish Broner well I just don't see the "it" factor in him that I only see from Ward nowadays.

:roflYour avy of the Watson twins! They are everywhere related to big pro boxing matches and in general boxing so it's a possiblity they saw greats of those times.

Ward doesn't have that HUGE right hand that Bernard has. He's actually interior to Bernard in every way at the same age, Broner at least can be argued punch for punch has more power than Mayweather did at that age.

Ward is a bit rougher (dirtier) than Hop I think. Plus, where is his "Roy Jones" to steal his shine? I think eventually he will surpass Hop if he continues to (1) stay healthy, (2) take care of himself in the "offseason" and (c) refrain from taking punishment.

i think Broner is more of a mayweather/mosley hybrid.
he defends like mayweather philly shell shoulder roll & all...but fights more flat footed sitting down on his punches like Mosley.

Broner will NEVER be like Floyd, in fact nobody can, broners defense is not so good compared to floyds, hes not as fast even in his weight, floyd was faster than broner at 147 when he fought mosley, Floyd is a much better pure boxer. Broner is just an imitator, nothing more, he loves floyd, as I can tell when he was wearing that "Free Money May" shirt in his last fight. And andre ward, meh, I dont think he will fight as many good fighters as Hopkins did, so no, ward wont surpass hopkins any time soon. :patsch

I think Ward can pass B hop. Broner is no Floyd but he will be a big time fighter. He works very hard at his craft and has been boxing since he was like 6 or 7. His first amateur fight was at 8

I rather be the lighter hitting Ward than the hard hitting Broner.
