Not really sold on Garcia. I really dont think he would be able to hurt Rios and his boxing skill is really overrated. This would be a toss up. People really sleeping on Rios since the Abril loss. The guy still can end a fight in any round and take a punch so he will be fine at 140.

    Good fight.

Would probably pick Rios by late KO.

Think it would be a fairly decent fight, Garcia does enough to steal a close decision.

No doubt in my mind that 140lbs will be a great fit for Rios...
That said since we haven't seen dude in a while & jr. Welterweight is still unchartered territory for "Bam Bam" I'll have to favor Garcia.

Would be a WAR tho... IMO Brandon's style is more suited for it.
But like I said, We will have wait & see.

I agree, knee-jerk reaction after what we saw in the Abril and Khan fights. Rios would break him down and stop him IMO.

It seems that is all ESB is nowadays. You are only as good as your last performance. In the past months we have seen some GOATs being born

-Lopez. Everyone counted him out and was a chump now he is amazing(always said it specially after he whoopped Vargas's ass)

-Matthysse - another good fighter who was always solid but is now an unstoppable machine

-Garcia - Morales clearly outboxed him and honestly looked like he wanted to quit after the 2nd round. Lucky shot saved him

-Broner - Being sold to us as the GOAT after beating *Escobedo and some former Bantamweights.

-Lara - Smoked Hearns JR. who is a nobody and everyone rode him. Has a hard time with Hernandez and people stopped the hype.

One good performance and we have an ATG or a bad one and the fighter should retire(Khan and Ortiz). That is why fighters dont want to take risks now. Seems like a loss will have people crying for you to hang them up.
