IT's been apparent since Cotto gave Mayweather a hell of a fight... but that's how boxing works. Cotto made me a fan who I was cheering for with that bad ass performance... but styles makes fights and its not like cotto didn't make the same mistakes he always does with his backpeddeling, taking breaks, and stamina issues... he still put on a great show.

As I mentioned in the build up to Canelo vs Mosley, I was going with a hunch I had. I gave technical reasons for why Shane could win, and I gave past examples of were those holes in Canelo's game had been exploited, no shame there.

I gave Alvarez credit after the fight, the holes I had seen had been plugged. Except for one glaring obvious flaw which will see him in trouble sooner or later when he fights someone who can throw a left hook. Ala Cotto.

Don't be arrogant enough to assume he can own Cotto. Alvarez has never seen this level of fighter infront of him before.
