Care to elaborate? Not disagreeing, just curious as I haven't picked much up on that myself.

Froch doesn't fight in straight lines as percived.

Watch his upperbody movement. Laterally he creates angles. The Pascal fight is a prime example of this. Pascal would set his feet as would Froch, the difference being that Pascal would keep his upper half stationairy, where as the Englishman moved his upperbody to open up different paths.

It's subtle, and doesn't appear to have a purpose but I'm certain he does this by design. There's more to Froch than meets the eye.

From what I saw against Bute, he's just an aggresive fighter with some power in his punches. Couldn't really see the angles or the upperbody movement you talk about. I mean, it took him almost 2 rounds to finish Lucian, who hasn't a strong chin at all and is not really used to being hit much.

I could be wrong, but Bute being an intelligent boxer, I can see Lucian knocking out Carl in their rematch.

    Like I said, it's subtle.

Froch lost all respect for Bute after the first time he hurt him. From then on he reverted to the Froch of old, and bulldozed the Canadian. I was there. :yep

I disagree strongly Sir, Bute isn't stopping Froch. I doubt he can box his way to a decision.

I may be wrong, but I believe the first time he hurt him was with a hit under the belt after Bute landed a few punches.

I'm not so sure Bute has the power to finish Froch, but I can see him working the body and knocking him down in the late rounds. Froch will be almost 36 when the fight will happen, and it'll be in Montreal this time, from what I know. If it's not gonna be a KO, that's fine. But I'm not so sure Carl can beat Bute again, especially not in Montreal.

Agree to a certain degree...he does fight to a design and that's to set up his opponents for the right uppercut cum cross...it is very subtle you're right:good
