Porter very sloppy. I hope its just the inactivity but...bummer so far.

My roommate before I got married teaches at the high school Porter went to. It's not exactly Cleveland but I guess it's close enough...

Porter does not know how to box.

    Round 3

Gomez landing hard left hook counters and hard right hands and Porter is stunned. Another left from Gomez. Porter lands left but Gomez takes it well and covers up. G HBig right hand counter and body shot from Gomez. Porter walks into a hard right and ties up. Porter is stuck trying to jump in and out and it isn't working. Left to the body of Porter. Porter flurries but all of it blocked. Gomez pushing porter back with jab. Left and right hooks to the body of Porter. Hard right from Gomez. Another right from Gomez. That is round.

    30 - 27 Gomez

Gomez still getting in big rights, and Porter seems to not be able to avoid them. Porter's punches are connecting, but not having as much effect as Gomez'. Both fighters getting in shots. Gomez looks much more in his element at 147. Both fighters seem to be neglecting the body, but Gomez gets a few shots in. Another Gomez round

    29-28 Gomez.

    Round 3

Porter is trying to stick his jab out past Gomez's left arm, but Gomez is turning his body and keeping his right glove up to block and counter. Gomez is landing his own jabs as they step around each other. Rabbit punch, warning from the referee. Porter is ducking very low, almost making rabbit punches inevitable. A bit of clinching. Edward Collantes having to get involved frequently, separating clinches and asking them both to keep it up as they both work the body and go incidentally low while pressed together. Gomez steps back and throws a right, getting hit with a counter.

    10-9 Porter

    29-28 Porter
