    Porter has explosiveness, but he doesn't have elite power, he has terrible defense, no boxing IQ or technique at all.

    For much of the fight he had his left hand down at his side. And yet he did fight a dumb fight because I think he wanted to KO Gomez. Nothing wrong with trying to make a statement. But it is telling that he didn't even KD Gomez. I'm impressed by his hand speed and movement but he's not ready at all for the big time.

    I like Porter. He's a good prosect, but he has to watch his head and work on his defense. He's very strong and can wear guys down. He can also box a bit. He will be a nice challenger for someone.

    He's 100% right, he's too aggressive, he comes in too much. He leaves himself open for rights and his head comes in too much.

    He can fix those things though, more movement and fight smarter and more calm.
