Guerrero can forget about a Mayweather fight, wouldn't last more than 3 rounds. Him and Aydin suck to be honest.
Guerrero a good fighter he doesn't "suck" but yeah his chances against Mayweather are pretty much less than nothing.
Aydin said himself he lost. So wtf are you guys talkin about? He was completely outboxed by a superior fighter.
I was really unimpressed with Aydin. His technique is average, he has no jab, hardly throws combinations and still eats plenty of punches even though his hands are held high. If he doesn't adjust his approach, he won't be beating anyone of note at 147, in my opinion.
im not a fan of aydin or his style of boxing. the fight did not go back in fourth until 6thrd.before then it was all the ghost so he won the fight to me.
I dont know why we are attacking Aydins style Aydin pressed forward all night threw hard shots stayed composed hit the body and blocked lots of Guerreros punches Guerreros style to me is atorcious pitter patter flicks at gloves and just try to win on activity alone Aydin was in his face landing hard shots every round and pinning him on the corner and ropes I thought Aydin won
Good take, but it was Aydins fault for wearing what looked to be 16 oz gloves, taking the fight in Guerreros back yard and then giving away several early rds allowing RG to throw those pitter patter shots. Had Aydin gone to body early he'd have stopped RG. Had he worn smaller gloves he'd have stopped RG. Had he brought RG to nuetral ground, or home, he'd have stopped RG.:deal
Actually, what he did in the Yordan fight was the smartest thing he could do. Yordan is a tough guy, and to fight from that early with THAT cut would just be stupid. If it happened later you fight through it.. 2nd round? Take the NC and fight another day. It worked out well for him.
Aydin did better than expected but I am not sure if he did enough to win the fight. He landed with authority and looked fresher in the end. Yet, he admitted that he lost the fight. Maybe those 12 lbs were too much for Guererro. In regard of the gloves, at first I thought they were wearing different brands. Later on I noticed both nad Reyes. So maybe it is the color that made Aydin's look bigger.
Guerrero won clearly IMO, 7-5 or 8-4, but all of those rounds were tough and competitive. I read an article today by Michael Rosenthal who was talking about a 'one-sided victory' for Guerrero, no idea WTF he was talking about, i thought it was a damn tough fight for Guerrero. Still an impressive win for a guy moving up from 135 though. I'd love to see him against a guy like Bradley or Alexander or maybe Berto before the end of the year. Mayweather? Nah, maybe if he can beat one or more of those guys i just mentioned.
