Didn't Hatton lock himself in apartment for a while and cry/alcohol binge then started doing coc? I'd rather get Gatti'd was never a world class fighter but had a world class heart and some of the most entertaining fights in boxing ...not to mention it wasnt his first loss he got ODLH'd before Mayweather.
Look, Mayweather was absolutely humming Gatti. Literally landing hard shots at will, and still didn't put him down aside from that 1st round. Gatti went out on his feet, his pride still intact. Hatton just got KTFO by one punch. That, I think is far more embarrassing, and a waste of all that training than the aforementioned.
Nothing embarassing about being knocked out, part and parcel of the sport. Was a monster punch anyway, I'd rather have that happen than get battered for the full 12 ( 6 in gatti's case ), being made to look like a human punchbag is far more "embarrassing".
