Ingemar Johansson - Who over-rates him? He didn't even get 1 defence of his title in, the only argument you can make him being over-rated is that he is in the HoF and I'd say his career doesn't merit his inclusion there.

Tyson (media glorifies him too much) - Agree to an extent. Sure he did well to win the title so young but he never fulfilled his potential and his fans make too many excuses for that. Never beat a great HW in their prime.

Ali (same with tyson) - I disagree, was the top dog in the greatest era of HW boxing.

James Braddock - Nobody really overrates him, he just has a good rags to riches comeback story.

Felix Trinidad - To an extent, he isn't the ATG beast some of his fans make him out to be but he was a good champion with good power who could be out-hustled by good boxers.

Ray Leonard - I disagree, the guys resume is impeccable.

i know but its something i think alot of people would have loved to have known.

me personally i do feel with a steady camp etc it would have been very interesting fighting holyfield and lennox maybe points wins, i always felt tyson could have ko'ed lennox since when i saw rahman knock him out.

anyways.. i am in the box of not overrated as he was one of the best fighters and would have given anyone in history a major problem in his prime.

Martinez overrated because he knocked out two tough undefeated european fighters bigger than he?

Was he supposed to just walk over Barker and Macklin and not lose a single second of a single round against them?

That was me who made that list and what the ginger moron who presented it here did not do was also show my reasons. I also stood him up when he challenged me to put my list on the website that I write for, which I did, and he's obviously pissed about it and took it here. He was also pissed that I called him a sheep on the other forum, a claim he vehemently denies, yet he posts a list on another forum in an effort to get masses of people against it.

"i am not a sheep.. i can make my own decisions skav and im a little pissed you'd make a comment like that to me."

    Yeah, what?????

He needs to get laid but when you have a ***** in your avatar like he does on the "other" forum then no wonder!

I said the media overrated Ali and that he got some very shaky decisions against the likes of Norton, Young and Jones. Ferdie Pacheco also said during the third Ali v Norton fight that the referee and judges would be taken by the "Ali legend." I still have him in my top 5 or 10 so it's not like I overrate him massively but could do without books such as "The Soul of a Butterfly" and the countless tribute books toward the man. As if Ali was really that intelligent and philosophical(!) In actual fact, he was a very naive person. Greatest heavyweight ever? Only Ali proclaims that. Actually, he later admitted that Joe Louis was the greatest, not him. It's in my belief that there is no such thing as a greatest fighter.

Leonard had catchweight fights and became a "five weight" champ by having two different titles from two different weight classes on the line. Need I say more? Records don't show everything. Great fighter with a lot of heart but I dock him a few for what people already know.

Where are we up to? Oh, Tito. Great fighter but I overrated him based on his boxing ability. If he faced anybody who had any lateral movement and could throw a jab then he'd be in trouble. Nobody could say anything bad about his achievements.

Tyson for obvious reasons that people have said before. Didn't beat anybody of substance apart from Holmes but he's probably the most exciting heavyweight fighter ever! Even more so than Ali.

Braddock I overrate because he had a movie about him. C'mon, really? Did he have to? Jake Lamotta was another who got one that probably didn't deserve. Like it or not, Braddock's name is constantly bought up when people discuss the likes of Joe Louis and I think it's undeserving.

This idiot made a comment that Sierra looked "a lot bigger" than Groves last night. If taller means "bigger" then his definition would be correct.

Cat Norris/Sledgehammer/Grizzlyadams needs to get a life. He also added me on facebook (something he blatantly lied about and tried to keep secret today).

Lastly, does anybody really give a **** what I think or what my list is? Thought not. Only the three musketeers on the other one do.

I think he was overrated when he was active, but he gets slightly underrated now.

Duran, seriously? I would say he was underrated because his lightweight reign is barely talked about by the average person. Yet, they go on about what he did against the other Three Kings.

Hamed I'd agree with. Great power, reflexes and speed but the elite level showed him up. People make excuses for him such as the lack of training, which I know was actually true, but Barrera schooled him.

    *****s! :patsch

yet their idol only has 4 fights in the last 5 years, two against fighters that pac has already beat or stopped, one against an overhyped quitter and one against a shot fighter.
