Floyd isn't dumb enough to get hit with a left hook that has to travel that far of a distance.

Its not an easy fight for Floyd. People that think it would be easy are seriously overrating Floyd or underrating Manny. He has the style and physical abilities to give Floyd fits. I favor Mayweather to win but could see him having his hands full.
Someone will bring up Marquez now but Floyd and Marquez do not have the same style at all. Mosley supposedly troubled Pacquiao as well but I dont see it. Mosley ran and Pacquiao scored a shut out; when a guy doesnt want to fight its hard to look good.

i don't think pac would be as competitive as cotto was, due to styles

Old man Mosley caught him. He can be hurt. I think if Pac caught him like that he would have finished him off. The Cotto version of Pac would have finished him off.

He can be hit. Pac hits harder than Cotto. Ask Mosley.

Bradley fight doesn't count as it was fixed.

Mosley when he caught Floyd also didn't use a punch that traveled as far as emmanuel's punch on Ricky.

Besides, Mosley hits way harder than emmanuel. emmanuel for all those powershots he landed on margo(e) was incapable of outright dropping him.

Mosley is a superior finisher to manny

and why do you keep bringing up how the Timmeh fight doesn't count? It doesn't count as a win for Timmeh since he got a gift decision, but let's not act like he was entirely ineffective in there.

    He took rounds 10, 11, and 12.

Floyd is beatable with the right gameplan. The Pac of the De La Hoya fight would have beat Floyd. And the Pac of the Cotto fight would beat Floyd.

Pacs pretty much a zombie of his former self now. Although, I still feel he could catch Mayweather and hurt him.

The Bradley fight was fixed from the start. Pac knew it was fixed. So it doesn't count. The decision was a farce.

Mayweather in the Cotto fight looked slow and lathargic in there at times. A very sluggish fight. And he fought a shot Cotto.

and by the right fighters. emmanuel's style is too vulnerable to counterpunchers. Plus he's a sucker for the right hand and is just waiting to get knocked into check hook avenue.

Do you honestly think Mayweather could knock out Pacman? I don't think its possible for him to knockout anyone by a legit punch like he did with Hatton anymore.

Mayweathers gonna be shocked eventually. Time will catch him out faster than ever now. He's in jail now with a lot of time to think.

Floyd came out after the Cotto fight and said he wanted to give the fans entertainment and certainly engaged more than he ever has before, in my opinion this was due to Floyd knowing that Cotto's power is very overated, when was the last time Cotto had a genuine KO? Margarito? No - eye Injury, Mayorga? No - hand injury, Foreman? No - knee injury, Pacquaio? - lost & got busted up, Clottey? No - won a close decision. Floyd would never fight the same way against Pacquiao, though I am not saying Floyd wouldn't box his way to a decision, most likely he would, just don't think he would fight the same way as he did against Cotto.

Floyd would still beat pac at that time. Maybe he will get hurt but definitely not get knocked down.

mayweather would easily counter him pacquiao pretty much an offensive fighter.

the 2008/2009 version that punished delahoya, hatton and cotto would give floyd hell despite of the styles and size advantage floyd has. todays past his best version would still give floyd some problems in spurts, just ask timmy.

2008 Pacquiao would have beaten Mayweather on effective aggression, but we didn't get to see it because Floyd 'lost the urge.', which was a telling statement. At this stage, Floyd starts favourite as Manny's declined more since then.

Depends on how much pacquiao tries on fight night against Floyd. Back when he seemed relentless and not easily frustrated, I thought he would have kept coming forward and force himself to get stopped kind of like what Floyd did to Ricky.

Now I am not so sure about that anymore. emmanuel has the mentality of a bully as shown in the Juan fight. He becomes a sitting duck and has shown he can be discouraged.
