He's also tougher and more aggressive than Moorer.

Yes, but that doesn't change the fact that Moorer would take him out in 1 or 2 punches.

The manager of Dapper Dan's would suggest otherwise. Watch the youtube video. Tyson ****ed Green up and pummeled him on the ground.

Moorer is a ****ing psycho who almost went to prison a coupe of times for asswhippin's he administered, including breaking a cop's jaw.

    He is no pansy.

Yeah, Moorer's not someone to mess with. Dude was in trouble with the law more often than not.

Considering Tyson is said to have pummelled him on the ground, Mitch Green didn't look that bad at all. imo.

I'm not kidding, I know guys who used to get there faces busted like that one a month on the streets, win or lose.
And they weren't fighting no Tysons.

I guess it's a combination of Green being very tough and Tyson probably had some self control. That's how Green wasn't ****ed up bad.

No way man. 1 or 2 punches? On JAKE LAMOTTA! He was down once in over 100 fights, fought Sugar Ray robinson what was it - 6 times? And was never off his feet. He even fought legit light-heavyweights, Bob Satterfield among them - probably the hardest hitting 175 fighter ever, and never went down. What is so special about Moorer?

Yes, 1 or 2 punches. I really don't think you're comprehending the power differences between the middleweights and heavyweights. You mention Bob Satterfield, but it's very arguable that Moorer punched harder than he did. Moorer was a very big lightheavy and regular sized heavyweight.

P4P LaMotta arguably had one of the best chins of all time, but in a non P4P sense (real life), he wouldn't be able to even take shots that Floyd Patterson did. If you were to put Moorer in all of the same fights LaMotta was in, Moorer would likely be undefeated with all KOs.

As a lightheavy, Moorer was undefeated with all KOs. As a heavyweight, Moorer still did very, very well and was still a hard puncher. As a dense middleweight, LaMotta was not a hard puncher, but he did have very good agression and his famous chin. His famous chin would not hold up to more than a few of Moorer's hardest shots, but Moorer would not be phazed by LaMotta's hardest shots.

There are several very tough street fighting boxers that you'd never really guess by the way they fought or acted.

George Chuvalo is also a good bet I think.
It's not like he's going down.

I remember it happened at a high school basketball game. Mike didn't like taking no feedback from the man and broke his jaw for him. I think this was before the Cooper fight, because the threat of a prison sentence was hanging over his head. Apparently, this was a pattern with him.

He was a sullen, violent guy who liked Wendy's fast food and gory horror movies.

He's very unstable. Happy one minute, then in the very same minute something small will set him off, but then he's happy again. Maybe he's bipolar.

You're right, Green didn't look that bad. And I'm sure Tyson relented a bit whether it was due to self control or not.

I'm guessing more than half the posters on here have gotten into a street fight, win or lose. I know I have. I got kneed in the snotbox and didn't feel a thing. The next morning looked like a raccoon and needed surgery to fix a deviated septum.

The limited available evidence, suggests that a smaller fighter has more chance against a bigger fighter in a street fight than in the ring.

Boxing is a martial art that is more about what you can't do than what you can do, and that can somtimes play to the bigger guys advantage.

It is fairly reliably recorded that Young Griffo beat up Jim Corbett in a street fight!
